There are a total of 20 levels of cultivation in this method. As long as one reaches the 12th level, one can achieve the state of being invincible. One’s entire body, except for the eyes, is impervious to weapons. To harm one’s physical body, even if one has lost all one’s martial arts skills, one would need more than twice the strength of one’s skills. If one has all one’s martial arts skills, one would need at least 10 times the strength. Legend has it that if one practices to the 16th level, one can become an arhat and reach the state of Hinayana Buddhism. If one practices to the 20th level, one can enter the state of Mahayana Buddhism and become a Buddha instantly. In fact, Vajra Zen is extremely powerful, but since followers of Buddhism have never competed with others, and those who practice this great method are even more highly skilled monks and virtuous people, it is even less likely that they would easily display its power. It is said that in the world, only the Shixian Temple of the Empire of the Setting Sun and the Jiansheng Chengkong Temple of the Kingdom of Tianzhu have the real secret manual of this Zen power. This Zen power is a secret treasure of the Buddhist faith, and it is not easily shown to others. Even Buddhist disciples cannot easily learn it. This time, for some reason, the Abbot of Dajue of Shixian Temple even gave the handwritten manual of this Zen power to my father.

And the Vajra Pill is also a treasure. Anyone who takes one can have supreme supernatural powers, but they must be between the ages of 3 and 5 when they take it, and it takes at least 5 years for the powers to be fully acquired. The method of refining this pill has been passed down from generation to generation within the Qiu family in strict secrecy. The refining process is extremely cumbersome, and even the slightest mistake means having to start all over again. Several of the medicinal ingredients are extremely rare, so even the imperial family, with the entire country’s resources, can only refine five of them within a century. This pill is said to have been passed down by a high Buddhist monk and is closely related to the Vajra Meditation technique. Therefore, successive emperors have to give one to the Xiechan Temple for research purposes.

“My dear son, your father heard that you haven’t made much progress in your practice, and thinks that your temperament may not be suited to these techniques. So he asked the Abbot of Dajue to give you the Vajra Meditation Technique, and use the Vajra Pills to help you cultivate the foundation. You must work hard and not let your father down!” My mother stroked my head lovingly.
